Proverbs 11
14 Without wise leadership, a nation falls;
there is safety in having many advisers.
Never before in my adult life have I been so concerned about the direction of the United States of America. I pray that our current national leadership truly will turn to Jesus, but I fear that after decades of turning away from Him as a nation, we are reaping what we have sown. I’m not saying that the current President of the United States is “the” Antichrist (because Scriptures clearly teach that there are many antichrists…anyone who opposes Christ is an antichrist), but his actions certainly do not appear to be those of someone who follows Christ. I know that the United States is NOT the Promised Land, and that my first citizenship is in God’s Kingdom, but I fear that this once great nation is being turned into a third-rate socialist state with no regard for God or His Word. Sigh.
