The exceptions led to Solomon’s downfall spiritually, and led to the splitting up of the kingdom following Solomon’s death. I cannot allow the “exceptions” in my life either! I need to love the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind and with all my strength. Period.
