Song of Celebration

Psalm 81

For the choir director: A psalm of Asaph, to be accompanied by a stringed instrument.
1 Sing praises to God, our strength.
Sing to the God of Jacob.
2 Sing! Beat the tambourine.
Play the sweet lyre and the harp.

In the midst of a series of Psalms that lament God turning His back on rebellious Israel, Asaph breaks out into a song of celebration. It is easy to lament current circumstances in the United States of America today, but I want to follow Asaph’s lead and break out in a song of celebration of our Lord and Savior. Thank You, Jesus saving my soul. Thank You Lord for the rain You continue to send down on us in Vero Beach. Thank You for my family and for the ability to spend quality and quantity time with them. Thank You for Vero Christian Church, and for the men in leadership positions who give so much of themselves for Your Kingdom. Thank You giving me the breath of life so I can sing this song of celebration in Your Honor!
