Luke 6
35 “Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. 36 You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate.
Loving your enemies is the mark of a true Christ Follower. Of all the commands Jesus gives, this is perhaps the most difficult to obey. While it is easy to love those who love you in return, it is difficult beyond words to express to love your enemies. Father, I ask for Your Strength to do just that today: to love even those who would wish and do me harm.
