Proverbs 20
12 Ears to hear and eyes to see—
both are gifts from the Lord.
It is so easy to take gifts from the LORD for granted. Today, I want to celebrate the fact that I can see and I can hear. Oh, I may need glasses for slight corrections for both reading and distance, and my hearing isn’t what it was 30 years ago, but overall, I am extremely well off in both of these areas. All I ask for now is that I have eyes to see like Jesus sees, and ears to hear what Jesus wants me to hear. May I be more like Jesus today than I was yesterday, hearing and seeing what He wants me to hear and see. May I live in such a manner as to please Him always. May I never neglect to thank Him for the fanstacial gifts He bestows upon me daily!
