Ephesians 6
7 Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.
I love this verse! Yes, I know Paul is talking to slaves here, encouraging them to work hard for their masters. But this also applies to anyone who works for someone else, doesn’t it? I mean, we should always work with enthusiasm as if we were working for the Lord! To live our lives in such a way as to bring God the glory and honor always, we should constantly strive to do our best in everything we do. God is the source of our talents, abilities, energy, etc. so of course we should do it all to bring Him glory. May my enthusiasm and diligent work ethic honor my Lord today and every day.
