The Mission

Luke 19

10 “For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.”

Jesus has just had dinner with Zacchaeus, a tax collector and a “notorious sinner.” At least he is a “notorious sinner” in the eyes of the “righteous people” in his town. Jesus stops them in their tracks, however because He proclaims that salvation has come to Zacchaeus and by making the mission of the Son of Man as plain as day. Jesus came to seek and save those who are lost. As a follower of Christ, that should be my mission as well. Who do I seek today?
