Time is Short

Revelation 12

10 Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens,

“It has come at last—
salvation and power
and the Kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Christ.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters
has been thrown down to earth—
the one who accuses them
before our God day and night.
11 And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb
and by their testimony.
And they did not love their lives so much
that they were afraid to die.
12 Therefore, rejoice, O heavens!
And you who live in the heavens, rejoice!
But terror will come on the earth and the sea,
for the devil has come down to you in great anger,
knowing that he has little time.”

Of this, there is no doubt: the devil seeks to destroy the very souls of people everywhere. He hates what God loves, and God loves people. Those who turn to Christ, and are in Christ will be saved. Those who reject Christ are fated to spend eternity in the same place of torment that has been prepared for the devil and his angels of rebellion. Satan knows that he doesn’t have a lot of time, so he is working hard to take as many people with him to that place of torment. Since I know that the time is short, how much more important is it for me to bring as many people as possible into a saving relationship with Christ?
