Psalm 144
3 O Lord, what are human beings that you should notice them,
mere mortals that you should think about them?
4 For they are like a breath of air;
their days are like a passing shadow.
5a Open the heavens, Lord, and come down.
On that first Christmas Day, God answered David’s prayer from this Psalm. God notices people because we are made in His Image. God broke through heaven and came down to earth in the form of a little baby born in a manger. The Hope of all mankind is among us and on this day, we celebrate God coming to earth. Merry Christmas to all, and may God’s richest blessings be upon you this day and always because Emmanuel - God With Us has indeed come!
