Eternally Grateful

Habakkuk 3

2 I have heard all about you, Lord.

I am filled with awe by your amazing works.

In this time of our deep need,

help us again as you did in years gone by.

And in your anger,

remember your mercy.

When I think about all that God has done, is doing, and will do, I am totally blown away! The almighty Creator of Heaven and earth, the Author of Life, the Giver of Salvation, is absolutely amazing! I am filled with awe when I think that God loves little ole me. How could I even possibly be the object of God’s love, mercy and grace? It is because I (like every other human who ever lived) was created in the image of God! You see, God’s love for me is not based on anything I have done or could ever do. God’s love for me is based on Whose I am, not on what I have done. God’s love is based on the fact that I am a child of the King. For that I am eternally grateful.
