Natural Response

Hebrews 10

23
Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. 24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

On this day when we remember the sacrifices made by those who serve this country in military service, our freedom has been secured by those willing to give it all. Our freedom from the penalty of sin is secured by the willing sacrifice once and for all times by our Lord and Savior Jesus. Therefore, we need to hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm in Christ Jesus. The only natural response to what Jesus has done for us is to live in such a way as to bring Him glory and honor. We should never neglect meeting together with other believers so we can always encourage each other in the natural response to God’s love for us. May my life be one that draws others to Jesus always. To Him be the glory and honor and praise forever and ever!
