Jeremiah 17
5 This is what the Lord says:
“Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans,
who rely on human strength
and turn their hearts away from the Lord.
Along the same vein as yesterday’s devotional thoughts, it is only when we follow the Lord that we can be saved. Following mere humans leads to being cursed, because when we follow humans, we tend to turn our hearts away from the Lord. Our first and ONLY allegiance should be to Jesus. Anything else is foolish and destructive.
