John 15
12 This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. 13 There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command.
Loving people the way Jesus loves them is not easy, but it is what has been commanded by my Lord and Savior. It means that I need to show love to those with whom I disagree. It means I need to love those who hate me. It means I am love without condition. Loving without condition does not mean condoning sin, but I am commanded to love the sinner. Yeah, I struggle with this command, but I am trying to do better. Prayers for me in this area would be most appreciated.
