39 Then Jesus told him, “I entered this world to render judgment—to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.”
Go Jesus, go Jesus, You’re the Healer, You’re the Messiah. Yeah, I just get a little cheer going when I read the story of Jesus healing the man who had been blind from birth. Jesus lays it on the disciples when they misinterpret Scripture, and Jesus lays a big ole whuppin’ on the Pharisees calling them blind to what God has goin’ on. Jesus is no wimpy little Savior, He is a man’s man Savior. He takes on the bullies and puts them in their place. He whips His closest followers into shape, helping them to overcome their preconceived notions, and He does everything to bring glory and honor and praise to God. May my life be like that, dear Lord, may my life be like that!
