Exodus 4
13 But Moses again pleaded, “Lord, please! Send anyone else.”
14a Then the Lord became angry with Moses.
Wow. Moses was either very brave or very dumb. Arguing with God to the point of making the Almighty Creator angry is not a good idea. Even so, God used Moses (though Aaron, his brother) to accomplish the Lord’s plan. I want to be God’s “yes man.” I often have tried to argue with God in the past, but this is a foolish exercise. My life is much more at peace since I instead have simply said to my Lord, “here I am, send me.”
