Genesis 35
11 Then God said, “I am El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty.’”
Only a very few times in Scripture, do we see God telling someone His Name. To Moses, God simply says that He is “I Am.” Here, to Jacob, the LORD proclaims that He is “God Almighty.” He is the Almighty Creator of the universe, the Author of our salvation, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords. He alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. This day, and every day it is my desire to do just that. May the Name of the Lord be praise. He is indeed God Almighty!
