Proverbs 3
13 Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding.
14 For wisdom is more profitable than silver, and her wages are better than gold.
15 Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.
Wisdom is found in the Word of God. Nowhere else. To find and to follow God’s Word is the most wise and only smart thing a person can do. Last night, Melvin Rodriguez obeyed the Gospel and was baptized into Christ by Ian Blount and Bryant “Turtle” Smith. While all of heaven was rejoicing, my heart rejoices even more as Melvin’s decision is an answer to years of prayer and witness. The wisdom Melvin has displayed must now be followed by the hard work (and labor of love) of following Christ. We’ll be along side of Melvin on that journey, praising God every step of the way!
