1 Oh, what joy for those
whose disobedience is forgiven,
whose sin is put out of sight!
2 Yes, what joy for those
whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt,
whose lives are lived in complete honesty!
I am so grateful for the forgiveness of sin I have through Jesus. Mere words could never adequately express my thanksgiving, and God isn’t interested in just my words. May my life reflect the joy I have because my sins have been forgiven, removed, and forgotten! It’s all because of Jesus, I’m alive. It’s all because the Blood of Jesus Christ that covers me and brings this dead man life. It’s all because of Jesus I’m alive. (Thanks Steve Fee for these lyrics!)
