Repent

Matthew 4

17 From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”

Jesus preaches a very simple, but very powerful message, doesn’t He? REPENT (turn away from sin and turn towards God)…the Kingdom of Heaven is near. This message of repentance is one that needs to be proclaimed loudly in America today. We have become a society of rationalized, justified sinners, who don’t think that our sins are really all “that bad.” Jesus has a simple, yet powerful message for the Church in America today: “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”
