7Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Submission to God is one of the toughest things to do ever. I am one of those type A personalities who wants everything in place, and wants to be in control. When I was baptized into Christ, I had to forgo the “being in charge” of my life attitude. That part of me still flares up from time-to-time, and I do have to battle it. My desire is to be used by and to be usable by God. That can only happen when I submit myself to Him, resist the devil and live my life for Christ. It is my desire to submit to God daily and send the devil fleeing from my life.
