Sigh

Philippians 4

4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

This is perhaps the most difficult Scripture passage to live out, ever. Circumstances in my family life involving my Dad and Sister, make it a challenge for me to rejoice, or to NOT be anxious. I know that I have to turn it all over to the Lord, and I am trying. I am trying. I do long for that peace of God, which transcends understanding to guard my heart and my mind. A good night’s sleep wouldn’t be too bad, either.
