28 Afterward, when Jesus was alone in the house with his disciples, they asked him, “Why couldn’t we cast out that evil spirit?”
29 Jesus replied, “This kind can be cast out only by prayer.”
The power of prayer is something that many of us never truly harness. I confess that my prayer life is nowhere near what I would like it to be. Oh, I pray, but I know that my walk with Christ and my ability to serve Him better would be enhanced by a greater prayer life than I currently have. I’m working on that. Pray for me in this regard, please.
