23 Elisha left Jericho and went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, a group of boys from the town began mocking and making fun of him. “Go away, baldy!” they chanted. “Go away, baldy!” 24 Elisha turned around and looked at them, and he cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of them.

The moral of this story, boys and girls is don’t make fun of a man of God. I LOVE this passage of Scripture. Elisha didn’t fool around, and he was not to be trifled with! He was a man on a mission, and he had no time for foolish, distracting people. Now, I know that I am called to be much more loving than that, but there are times when I wish I could call on a couple of bears...jk/lol!
