Get Our Heads Out Of The Clouds

Acts 1

11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday he will return from heaven in the same way you saw him go!”

I love this verse. An angel of the Lord tells the followers of Jesus to get their heads out of the clouds! There is work to be done before Jesus returns. Too often, those of us who claim to follow Christ want to keep our heads in the clouds, or at least NOT have our heads in the task of seeking and saving the lost for the sake of Jesus! Separating ourselves from the lost is a sin. Keeping only to ourselves is like keeping our heads in the clouds. There’s work to be done for the sake of the Kingdom of Christ. Let’s get to it!
