Acts 26
28Then Agrippa said to Paul, "Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?"
29Paul replied, "Short time or long—I pray God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these chains."
When I read this passage, I am struck by several thoughts. First, Paul, the great evangelist that he was, didn’t have a 100% conversion rate. Second, he didn’t let that stop him from sharing the Gospel with everyone anyway. Third, why do I let my fear of not having a 100% conversion rate slow me down in my desire to share the Gospel with a lost, dying world? It is my desire to have everyone with whom I come in contact become what I am except for my sins. May they see Christ in me and want that for themselves!
