Colossians 2
6 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
Continuing to follow Christ includes doing what is necessary to let your roots grow down into Him. Spending daily time in His Word is the BEST way to grow those roots deeply. Being actively involved with the local church is next. Having an attitude of gratitude is the only way to be. Learning to get along with others is best grasped when you have to get along with brothers and sisters in Christ. Oh yeah, did I mention staying in the Word of God daily? Lord, help my roots to grow even deeper in You this day. Thank You for the local church, for brothers and sisters in Christ, and most of all for the Bible!
