Pay Attention to God's Commands

Isaiah 48

18 If only you had paid attention to my commands…

Some of the saddest words in all of Scripture – God lamenting with His chosen people, “if only you had paid attention to my commands.” We read what happened to the people of Israel for ignoring God’s clear commands. Yet, we as Christ followers today, we feel that we can treat God’s commands as optional. How foolish. How sad.
