Ephesians 2
19 So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. 20 Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. 21 We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord. 22 Through him you Gentiles are also being made part of this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit.
Speaking as a Gentile, I am so glad that God has chosen to allow us to be a part of His family! What a blessing to be called a child of God. It is an honor that should never be taken for granted. God wants us in His family. He wants everyone to be in His family, but just has He has chosen us, we must choose Him. Our obedience to the Gospel brings us into this family. By His grace we are saved through the Blood of Jesus. The only natural response to this grace is to live in a manner that is pleasing to our Heavenly Father. Not because such a lifestyle saves us, but because we are saved. I want to praise my Lord today for allowing His Holy Spirit to live inside of me. May my life be a constant source of praise for my Heavenly Father through His One and Only Son, Jesus!
