2 Corinthians 13
11 Dear brothers, I close my letter with these last words: Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.
Paul is finishing up his 2nd letter to the church at Corinth, and the last section is filled with stern corrections and rebukes. He then, like a loving parent, reminds the Christians at Corinth to live like followers of Christ: be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Those are the marks of a true follower of Christ. Father, may I be known for those traits in my life each day.
