Put My Trust In You

Psalm 56

3 But when I am afraid,

I will put my trust in you.

4 I praise God for what he has promised.

I trust in God, so why should I be afraid?

What can mere mortals do to me?

I cannot help but think of my buddy Brent when I read this Psalm today. I pray Lord that You will guide Brent and those who have had him under attack. Father, may all involved in this very unChristian treatment of Your servant Brent come to know You, Your Love, Your Grace, and Your Forgiveness. I am trusting in You, O God. May Brent do the same. May the leadership at his (now) former congregation do likewise.
