Repentance

Psalm 7

12 If a person does not repent,

God will sharpen his sword;

he will bend and string his bow.

13 He will prepare his deadly weapons

and shoot his flaming arrows.

Repentance often gets the short end of the stick in the salvation process discussion. Yeah, we hammer away on belief and baptism, but usually give little more than lip service to repentance. Without repentance, there is no forgiveness of sin. Without forgiveness of sin, baptism is irrelevant. Without repentance, God is ready to shoot flaming arrows our way. Yeah, it is time to let folks know the importance of repentance...this change of heart and change of mind, this turning from sin and turning toward God. He apparently thinks it is kind of important.
