Pay No Attention to the Man Behind the Curtain

2 Corinthians 4

3 If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing. 4 Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain! Satan is the “man behind the curtain” attempting to blind the eyes of people so that they do not believe the Gospel. It is my job as a follower of Christ to expose that man behind the curtain for the fraud that he is. Satan is all smoke and mirrors, trying to frighten people away from the freedom they can have in Jesus. May my life shout out for those blinded by satan, “pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!” Let us instead focus our gaze on our Lord and Savior, Jesus.
