Psalm 21
5 The Lord himself watches over you!
The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.
I am blown away this morning by the thought that the Creator of Heaven and Earth, the Almighty God of the Universe, is the One who watches over me, standing beside me as my protective shade. Sure, God could send an angel to take care of that work, but the Scripture says that the LORD himself does this! May the LORD be praised always, and may I never forget that He Himself is right here with me every step of the way!
