1 Peter 4
10 God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. 11 Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.
This is my favorite “Spiritual Gifts” passage in the Scriptures. It is not one usually cited by those discussing Spiritual Gifts, but the message Peter has for us all here is simple: God has given each of us Spiritual Gifts. Use them for His Kingdom. I am grateful for the gifts He so richly has bestowed upon me, and it is my desire to bring Him glory, honor, and praise every single day of my life. May His gifts shine through me, and may I get out of the way so that Jesus is lifted up, drawing all people to Him.
