True Heroes

Psalm 16

2 I said to the Lord, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.”
 3 The godly people in the land are my true heroes! I take pleasure in them!”

We said our earthly goodbyes to one of my heroes last Friday. My Great Uncle Jim Harrison passed from this life to his eternal reward on January 10th. His memorial service was January 15th. He and my Great Aunt Eula were married for 63½ years, and they served the Lord Jesus with their whole hearts during all of that time. As Peggy and I approach our 29th anniversary this coming August, I pray that we can follow the example of Jim & Eula. Their deep abiding love for Christ and for each other is inspirational, and they are among my true heroes.
