No Neutral Ground

Luke 11

23 “Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me.”

Jesus lays it all out about as plainly as possible here. There is no neutral ground regarding Jesus. Either you are with Him or you are against Him. Half-hearted platitudes mean that you are against Him. Wanting Jesus to be a part of your life, but not wanting Him to be Lord of your life means that you are against Him. It is my prayer this day and every day, that my every thought, word and action will be FOR Jesus. How about you?

No Neutral Ground

Luke 11

23 “Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me.”

This is one powerful statement from Jesus. There is no neutral ground when it comes to Jesus. You are either with Him or against Him. If you are with Him, you must be totally with Him, following His Word, not just picking and choosing what you like or want to do. Lord, help me to be faithful to You and Your Word every day. I want to be counted among those who are with You. Forgive me of my sins, help me to turn from them and to turn to You and You alone. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
