2 Thessalonians 3

6 And now, dear brothers and sisters, we give you this command in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ: Stay away from all believers who live idle lives and don’t follow the tradition they received from us.

Now, this has caught my attention big time today. Paul does not exhort Christians to stay away from pagans, but rather, he tells Christians that they should stay away from all believers who live idle lives and don’t follow the tradition they received from Paul and company! Wait a minute!! Idle believers who do not follow Scripture are to be avoided. Shunned even. Hmmm...
