Psalm 90

1 Lord, through all the generations

you have been our home!

2 Before the mountains were born,

before you gave birth to the earth and the world,

from beginning to end, you are God.

This Psalm of Moses strikes me today for the simplicity of the relationship with God that is expressed here. God is our HOME! This world is not our home. My house here in Vero Beach is not my home. These are temporary dwelling places, but the Creator of heaven and earth; the Author of Salvation; the Perfecter of my faith, He is HOME. May I dwell in Him always. May I give Him the praise daily. May I be content to be in Christ knowing that being in Christ will always lead me HOME.
