52 Then he added, “Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new gems of truth as well as old.”
Spending time in God’s Word each day brings to my life new gems of truth as well as old. As many times as I have read through the Bible now using the one year reading plan, I still find something new every day that God says to me through my reading. What a blessing! Of course, it is my responsibility to share the gems of truth I learn with others. May I get out of the way, and let the Word shine through because the truth needs to be shared and lived out every day.
