3b “If another believer sins, rebuke that person; then if there is repentance, forgive.”
Check it out: Jesus says if another believer sins, rebuke that person! Too often when a believer is caught in sin, they resort to that, “who are YOU to judge?” garbage. We are commanded by the Lord Jesus Himself to rebuke another believer who sins. We are also commanded to forgive a penitent believer. If fact, even if that believer sins against you seven times a day, but repents, they must be forgiven. I am all about the forgiveness, but I will never allow a believer caught in sin to try to shame me from rebuking them again!
